Ruby & Webb – Wild Fig Candle

 I LOVE candles! I attended a professional chandler’s course and never looked back! 
My mission was to create luxurious, affordable, highly scented soy candles. 
My husband & I decided to give my hobby a name; I love the name Ruby, it was also
my late Mum’s birthstone and Webb sounded good with Ruby!

In 2017 my life changed forever; my husband died from a brain tumour.

As I approached Christmas 2020, candle orders went through the roof and I realised 
I couldn’t run Ruby & Webb and still do my day-job as well.

In March 2021, I handed my notice in, and started Ruby & Webb as a full-time business.  

Both my Mum and husband died from brain tumours, so I wanted to donate £1 from the
sale of every candle to Brain Tumour Research.

Think, warm figs basking in mellow sunlight. Ripe and ready for harvesting, their 
sweet aroma has been paired with fresh raspberries and sweet cherries; with just a
 dash of coconut and cedar wood to create the perfect relaxing combination.

As children we had an enormous fig tree in our garden.  We used to love helping 
to pick the figs each autumn and to then roast them in the oven.  They just smelt 
divine.  Each time I light this candle and remember my wonderful childhood, I can’t
 help but smile…
